Refunds & Cancellations

We want every experience at Karan-An to be a great one. This policy outlines our approach to refunds and cancellations for reservations, online orders, events, and gift vouchers.

Reservations

Standard bookings

For standard reservations, there is no booking deposit required. We ask for a minimum of 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or modify your booking. You can cancel online, by phone, or by email.

Group bookings (8 or more guests)

Group bookings may require a prepaid deposit to secure your table. We require a minimum of 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Deposits for group bookings cancelled within 48 hours of the booking time are generally non-refundable, except in the case of exceptional circumstances at our discretion.

No-shows

Guests who do not arrive and have not provided prior notice may forfeit any deposit paid and may be asked to place a deposit for future bookings.

 

Online Orders (Pickup)

Once an order has been confirmed and preparation has begun, we are unable to accept cancellations or provide refunds. If you have an issue with your order upon pickup, please speak with a team member immediately and we will work to resolve it.

Delivery Orders

For orders placed via Uber Eats or DoorDash, refund and cancellation terms are governed by those platforms' respective policies. Please contact the relevant platform directly.

Events & Packages

For pre-paid event packages or private dining bookings, our cancellation terms will be outlined in your booking agreement. Generally, cancellations made more than 7 days prior to the event will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 7 days may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Gift Vouchers

eGift vouchers are non-refundable once purchased. They are valid for 3 years from the date of issue.

Food Quality Concerns

We take great pride in the quality of our food. If you have a concern about a dish, please raise it with our team during your visit and we will do our best to make it right. We are unable to offer refunds for food that has been largely consumed.
